The project
In February 2025, SQLI launched a new brand identity to better reflect its values and future direction. The rebrand aimed to modernize the visual language while staying true to the company’s heritage.
The project was a collaboration between the London and Berlin design teams. I worked alongside another product designer and a creative director in our London office, with two creative designers in Berlin.

The brand
We explored two different art directions before aligning on a final one. The new brand identity features a lowercase logotype, graphic ascenders as a flexible shorthand, and a brand promise that reinforces our positioning. A refreshed colour palette led by three shades of blue brings a modern tone, while the TWK Everett typeface adds calm elegance with a clean, minimal feel.

My role
My role was to align and audit the brand guidelines and apply them across digital and print assets. I was responsible for social media assets (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Spotify) and print assets (white papers, e-books).
The social media assets were modualised in Figma as components for marketing use, and print assets were created as tempalge in Indesign.
